Inspir\u00e9 des mythologies de la fin du XX\u00e8me si\u00e8cle tel que le film <em>Alien <\/em>de Ridley Scott, la cr\u00e9ature synth\u00e9tique est garnie de capteurs permettant de transformer les signaux du corps en sons. Rediffus\u00e9s en temps r\u00e9el dans les oreilles (<em>auris<\/em>) du sujet porteur, les sons du <em>Quodoris<\/em> provoquent des r\u00e9actions physiologiques qui sont \u00e0 leur tour capt\u00e9es et sonnifi\u00e9es. Hybrid\u00e9es dans le dispositif technique, ces r\u00e9actions enclenchent une boucle r\u00e9cursive, activant un \u00e9tat proche de la transe. Cet \u00e9tat de conscience modifi\u00e9e peut-\u00eatre apaisant comme anxiog\u00e8ne en fonction de la r\u00e9ception du sujet au son de son propre corps, transform\u00e9 par la cr\u00e9ature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette recherche sur les mythologies contemporaines c\u00f4toyait les notions de contaminations et de post-humanit\u00e9. Le <em>Quodoris <\/em>\u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 comme une v\u00e9ritable cr\u00e9ature vivante, cr\u00e9\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de s\u00e9quen\u00e7ages g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques d&#8217;anciens animaux marins lors de ses expositions.
